(3) Degrease with an alkaline solution.

For the removal of animal and vegetable oils and mineral oil on the surface of steel parts, a small amount of emulsifier may be added to the alkaline solution and washed after heating.

If pressure injection is used, the degreasing effect is better. After cleaning, apply hot water spray to rinse off the residual alkali solution on the surface of the part.

2, remove carbon deposits

(1) Mechanical methods generally use metal brushes, blades and broken piston rings to remove carbon deposits. However, because this method is easy to scratch the surface of the part, it is not necessary to use abrasive cloth and steel scraper to remove the carbon deposit on the precision part. It can be removed by wooden, bamboo or copper scraper, or it can be rubbed back and forth on the cork board. .

(2) Chemical method

Place the part in the prepared chemical solution, dip it for a period of time, soften the carbon deposit, then remove the part, wipe off the carbon deposit with a brush or cotton thread, wash it with hot water and let it dry.

3, remove scale

(1) A solution of caustic soda (caustic soda) is used.

When removing the scale containing silicate as the main component, add 2% to 3% of the caustic soda aqueous solution to the cooling system. After the standby car is driven for 1-2 days, release it, rinse with water, then repeat it again, and finally rinse thoroughly with water. Clean the cooling system.

(2) using hydrochloric acid.

When removing the scale of the cast iron cylinder block, etc., the hydrochloric acid having a concentration of 8% to 10% and the butyl corrosion inhibitor solution equal to 3% of the hydrochloric acid may be heated to 50 to 60 ° C into the water jacket, and after immersion for 2 to 3 hours.
